Bucs rookie WR Chris Godwin is already impressing

Former Penn State wide receiver Chris Godwin may have just been drafted, but he’s already busy turning heads and sparking quite a bit of discussion. During this week’s press conference at One Buc Place, coach Koetter made it clear that Godwin has already made a splash in OTAs and is off to a fast start in the NFL.

“The most consistent guys since we’ve been out here have been Godwin and Adam Humphries,” Koetter said. “Those two guys have been making plays everyday. Real happy with what Chris is doing, but he could play in or out, either one.”

Meanwhile, Godwin’s signal caller also made it known that he’s a big fan of the young rookie.

“Man, Chris Godwin is amazing,” Jameis Winston also emphasized last week during OTAs. “He’s an amazing young talent.”
